GM Preferred Pricing
GM Preferred Pricing is a discount where eligible employees pay Invoice Price plus 2% of the MSRP on their purchase, lease or finance of a new Chevrolet, Buick or GMC. This popular GM manufacturer program often has many questions attached to it, so we’ve outlined some of the most commonly asked, and answered them for you. www.gmpreferredpricing.ca
- Can I combine this with another current offer? Yes, certain offers may be able to be combined with GM Preferred Pricing. These include the majority of national and regional offers, alongside GM Card Earnings Canadian Forces Appreciation Discount, Mobility Program Discount and Student Bosun Discount.
- Who is Eligible? You must be a current employee of an eligible Preferred Pricing company (Canadian citizens, active salary staff and spouses only; contracted or retired employees are not eligible). Additionally, a purchased vehicle under the program has to be titled and registered to the employee or spouse for personal use only.
- What Vehicles are Eligible? Almost all of them, although certain model/trim may not be, while others may have a limited availability. Contact us today for specific inventory information.
- Is Preferred Pricing Available at any Dealer? No, only participating Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealerships, which Surgenor GM Ottawa is.
- What are the Purchasing Options? Purchasing, financing or leasing.
- What is the Limit on Vehicles I’m able to Purchase? You are able to purchase, finance or lease two (2) new vehicles each calendar year.

The following individuals are eligible:
- Canadian Armed Forces Personnel: Active service personnel, current reservists, veterans and their respective spouses (including surviving)
- First Responders: Active Canadian firefighters, police, EMT/paramedics, 9-1-1 dispatchers and their respective spouses

To participate in the program, simply bring in your current or former proof of Canadian Forces membership, valid proof of current Canadian First Responder employment/government issued ID
- Must be a full-time student at a recognized high school, or
- Must have graduated from a full-time recognized high school program within the last four years.

- Part-time and full time students (working towards a diploma for a program consisting of the equivalent of two years or 16 months of in class study) or
- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time College within the last four years.

- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time University or CEGEP, within the last four years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.
- Must have graduated from an accredited part-time or full-time Adult and Vocational program within the last four years. Eligibility period will be measured from the date shown on the graduate’s diploma.
- The Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) in which students spend a portion of the term working in GM dealerships is eligible.
- Apprenticeship programs are eligible (enrolled or graduated).
- For CEGEP in Quebec, the DEC technical program is eligible.
- Certificate Programs consisting of 1 year or less are not eligible.
